Painting Energy

Energy painting is complex. Whether it’s emotion based as is Riotous Joy and The Sky Beyond This Moment, nature inspired depicted in Summer Rain or pure life energy movement expressed in Grandmother Growth and Metamorphoses. I find I best capture it in layers of painted attention.

My paintings are layers of human thought, feeling and belief engaging with nature. Sometimes they are journeys through water, land and or sky. I use patterns, sweeps and textures meditatively to create the experience I ‘m having and want for the viewer.
